North Quay Bike/Pedestrian Pathway

PRIZE AWARDED for Drainage Design

This project was an initiative of the Brisbane City Council, to help find a solution to a difficult embankment rising from the North Quay Ferry Terminal to the top of William St and Victoria Bridge in Brisbane.

 

The design was required to comply with Australian Standards for wheelchair users, and needed to accommodate cyclists and pedestrians. A quick access route for pedestrians was also required, and all historic elements were to remain untouched.
