2013 - Little Street, Fortitude Valley

Laneway Project

 

The Brisbane City Council is seeking ideas as to the future use of many laneways within Brisbane. Little Street is in the entertainment district of the city and is close to 'China Town' in Fortitude Valley. It is central to many commercial businesses and also parallel to the inner-city train line.

 

Analysis showed that many art exhibitors and showrooms were increasing in the area, therefore this project sought to provide a training ground for local artists of all ages and exhibit areas and a cafe to encourage visitors and potential art buyers into the area.
